LGBTQ+ counselling
As a queer person myself, I know that having an LGBTQ+ identity is not a problem! Coming to counselling to speak about your identity is not about solving a problem with your sexuality or gender, but you might be needing support with common experiences such as:
Exploring your identity
Decision-making about your identity (including gender-affirming care)
Navigating dating as a queer or trans person
Having vulnerable conversations with friends and family
Keeping yourself safe
All counselling should feel safe and respectful, and this is particularly important when speaking about parts of our identity that are marginalised and politicised.
I’m committed to providing a space that is queer-, gender- and neuro-affirming. I understand how important it is to enter a therapy space that welcomes and accepts all parts of who you are, whether you’re seeking counselling that focuses on your identity or needing support with other areas of your life.
If you’re looking for a counsellor who will provide a safe and affirming space where you can be your full self, get in contact here to book an appointment.
