Fees and rebates

Fees

The cost of a 50-minute counselling session is $200. This fee is the same for in-person and telehealth appointments. Unfortunately I am unable to offer bulk-billed appointments.

Payment can be made via EFTPOS or direct debit and is due at the time of the appointment.

Medicare rebates

I am registered with Medicare as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. You may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $87.25 for up to 10 sessions with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan. Please note that the full $200 session fee is due at the time of your appointment. Following payment, I can process your rebate on your behalf.

Access to a Mental Health Treatment Plan requires a referral from a doctor. Please speak to your GP about your eligibility for a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

Cancellation policy

If you would like to change or cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Requests to change or cancel appointments can be made via phone/voicemail, SMS or email. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or you do not attend the appointment without notice, then you may be charged a $100 cancellation fee.

Appointment reminders will be sent via SMS and email 48 hours’ prior to your scheduled appointment, so if you need to make a change please get in touch as soon as possible.
